I was in a desperate situation. I was trying to get my car shipped from Seattle to San Francisco. I paid another company $195 to ship my car by a certain date. But seven days later my car still wasn’t home and the list of excuses ranging from carrier truck mechanical problems to a driver canceling at the last minute kept growing.
